January always reads like a checkpoint, but what lingers is not what happened. It’s what quietly stopped working. These summaries matter not because they close a chapter, but because they reveal what no longer needs to be carried forward.
Taking the time to breathe before jumping straight in can make all the difference. I tried to do the same. I saw that whatever the top movie was in the year that you turned 10 will be what 2026 will be like for you.. Now, I am so glad that I recharged the batteries in January. I’m having a “Return of the Jedi” type of year !!! What’s yours looking like…?

I think I’d feel the same had I read it first. Really is such a cure movie though
